He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Tarter and Bonnie Tarter (Juergensmeier); his stepsons, Chad Clements and Zachary Clements; and his brother Scott Tarter.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Beady; his children, Cory Tarter of Huntington, IN and Heather Tarter of Marion, IN; his stepdaughter Danielle Clements; his stepmother Helen Huffman of Fort Wayne, IN; his siblings, Rob Tarter (Andrea) of Louisville, KY and Tammy Martin of Huntington, IN; his stepsiblings, Jerry Huffman of Fort Wayne, IN, Susan Tony of Fort Wayne, IN and Diana Palisano of Fort Wayne, IN; his grandchildren, Hailey Scott, Lily Tarter and Leah Tarter; his nieces, Priscilla Tarter and Jonbenet Hedrick; his nephew Brett Beady; his great-niece Sophia Tarter; his children, Vicki and Andrew Muncie; and his grandchildren, Gracelyn Muncie and Carson Muncie.
