He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Ness and Mary Ilene Ness (Palmer); and his brothers, Palmer Ness, George Ness and Joseph Ness.
He is survived by: his wife Sondra Bickel; his daughters, Carlene "Carly" Ness (John Daughety) of Dallas, TX, Suzanne Ness of Bloomington, IN, Sarah McCammon (Mark) of Columbia City, IN and Sheila Meese (Bill) of Huntington, IN; his grandchildren, Jackson Daughety, Olivia Daughety, Spencer McCammon, Lindsey McCammon, Madison Meese (Conor Lloyd) and Grant Meese; and his siblings, Steve Ness (Sherrill) of Huntington, IN and Mary Ann Ness of Huntington, IN.
