It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Briar Michael Strle of Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Gary J. Riggers; his brother Max Benfer Strle; his aunt Wilma; and his uncle Bill Land. He is survived by: his parents, Carl Strle (Roxanne Bratcher) and April Strle (Rakoczy) of Huntington, IN; his children, Wyatt Thacker, Faith Thacker and Aubrey Strle; his brothers, Levi Newsome and Devan Wallace; his aunts and uncles, Tim Gray (Kim), Ryan Rakoczy (Babette), Maxine (Dennis) and Tony Strle (Lynn) of Hammond, IN; his niece Elle Helvie; and his nephew Benjamin Helvie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Life Church (900 E State St, Huntington, IN 46750). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu flowers, memorials may be made to Briar's children.
