He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilbert and Grace Chappell (Hogg). He is survived by: his wife Glenda F. Chappell of Huntingburg; his daughters, Cathie Oxenford (Todd) of Colorado and Debbie West of Carson City, Nevada; and his stepsons, Jeff, Paul Taber of Huntingburg and Larry "Keith" Taber (Shawna) of Paoli. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
