She was predeceased by: her parents, George Penner and Naomi Penner (Coomer); and her former husband John Samuel Beebe. She is survived by: her husband Jack Gilliland of Huntingburg; her daughter Jean Glover of Ferdinand; and her stepson Jeff Gilliland of Algiers. She is also survived by three siblings; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Central Christian Church.
