He is survived by: his wife Judy Tretter of Huntingburg; his children, Brenda Mehringer (Gary) of Jasper, Rich Tretter (Cathy) of Huntingburg, Keith Tretter (Laura) of Ferdinand and Brad Tretter of Huntingburg; his siblings, Irene Balbach of Haubstadt, Almeda Hopf of Jasper, Alice Gilson (Leo) of Jasper, Linus Tretter of Celestine and Ray Tretter (Betty) of Ferdinand; his grandchildren, Brooke Wells (Zerrick), Mitch, Lindsey, Evan Mehringer, Nathan (Madison), Matthew Tretter (Lauren), Lexie Trent (Tyler), Katie and Kamie Tretter; and his great grandchildren, Kaysen Trent, Everett Wells, Caroline Tretter, Briggs Trent and Clara Wells.
