He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Braun and Doris Broeker (Sollman); his stepfather Charles "Trig" Broeker; and his siblings, Roger Braun and Carolyn Haddad.

He is survived by: his brothers, Gary Braun (Rai), Dennis Broeker (Sharon) and Ronald "Ronzo" Broeker (Cindy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
