She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvil Lemond and Catherine Miller (Nolen); her husband James R. Brown, Sr. of Mary's Catholic Church; her son Jim Brown, Jr.; her siblings, Melba Montgomery, Edward, Jim, Peter, Oscar, Robert, Bill and Joe Lemond; and her grandchildren, Kayla Jochum, Kory Niehaus, Nashai Brown, Chloie Lubbehusen and Kaylyn Parnell.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Jochum (Otto) of Ferdinand, Linda Zahn (Terry) of Evansville, John Brown (Donna) of Otwell, Joe Brown (Linda) of Dale, Babette Mathies (Dave) of Jasper, Barb Lubbehusen (David) of Huntingburg and Dawn Parnell (Ryan) of North Canton, Ohio; and her siblings, Albert Lemond of Huntingburg, Mary Bohnert of Huntingburg, Esther Peach of Huntingburg, Henny Toby of Huntingburg and Charles Lemond of Birdseye. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
