He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Eckert and Eunice "Lorraine" Eckert (Smith); his close friend Karen Hourigan (Egg); and his sister Barb Eckert Faith. He is survived by: his children, Steven Eckert (Kris) of Huntingburg, Stacey Blevins (Max) of Tampa, Florida and Julie Nugent (Brian) of Tampa, Florida; his grandchildren, Tanya, Ross, Maggie, Austin, Jakob and Joshua; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Ameliah and Aiden.
