She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Buhr and Elizabeth Buhr (King); her children, April Mason (Miller) and Nathan Braunecker; and her siblings, Esther, Susie, Leo and Bernadette.

She is survived by: her daughter Andrea Braunecker of Jasper; and her siblings, Melba, Jackie, Theresa, Leonard "Buddy" and Patty. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
