She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schmett and Sarah Schmett (Maxey) of Huntingburg; her husband Elwayne Chanley; and her brothers, Gerald and Mike Schmett (Linda) of Huntingburg.
She is survived by: her son Scott W. Chanley (Sarah Tagtmeyer) of Huntington, Indiana; her granddaughter Lauren Beer (Daniel) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Amelia and Griffin Beer; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Schmett of Huntingburg.
