With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Howerton of Huntingburg, Indiana, who passed away on November 5, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Howerton and Marie Howerton (Chumbley); his siblings, Gene, David Howerton and Mildred Sillings (Thomas); his brother-in-law Marvin Lynch; and his son-in-law Alan Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Howerton of Huntingburg; his daughters, Jackie Price (Larry) of Princeton, Kimberly Hanson (William) of Indianapolis and Michelle Baker of Tell City; his siblings, Helen Lynch, Rose Marie Bowman, Sherry Marsh and Terry Howerton (Nancy); and his sisters-in-law, Dolores and Lynn Howerton. He is also survived by six grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
