He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue Lambert of Huntingburg; his daughter Leigh Neu (Christopher) of Huntingburg; his brothers, Jim Kern (Marilyn) of Haubstadt and Tim Kern (Sue) of Dale; and his grandchildren, Madeline McElhaney (William) of Chicago and Corbin Neu (Lynnette) of Lombard, Illinois..
