He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Sherman and Josephine Sherman (Lindauer); his siblings, Felix, William, Leo, Charlie, James and Joseph Sherman; and his brother-in-law Melvin Betz.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sherman of Huntingburg; his sons, Keith Sherman (Jennifer) of Ferdinand, Brian Sherman (Becky) of Dale, Kevin L. Sherman (Roxanne M.) of Ferdinand and Eugene "Eric" Sherman of Huntingburg; his siblings, Ignatius Sherman (Connie) of Huntingburg, Oscar Sherman (Karen) of Huntingburg, Herman Sherman (Donna) of Gentryville, Betty Beren (Charlie) of Dale, Mary Jochum (George) of Huntingburg, Suzanne Schipp (Dave) of Huntingburg and Cecila Betz of Celestine; his grandchildren, Brent, Kendall, Joseph, Chelsea, Kaylee, Ariel and Trevor; and his great grandchildren, Berkley and Carmen.
