He is survived by: his daughter Annie; his wife Susan Weir Kruger; his mother-in-law Phyllis Menke; his children, Kristie Rineer (Rick) of Pennsylvania, Kasy Schnabel (John), Kobie Buttery (Zachary) of Maryland, Rowe Dalton and Russia; his stepchildren, Jeff Weir (Tracy) of Georgia, Josh Weir (Marisela) of Illinois and Melissa Boeglin (Brandon) of Holland, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Haley, Zachary Rineer, Caden, Declan, Keller Schnabel, Tyee, Tate, Keon and Kata Buttrey; his stepgrandchildren, Zoey, Logan, Blythe Weir, Madeline, Alex Weir, Gabriel, Jackson and Kathryn Boeglin; and also, Carol Ebert and Annie Kruger.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, Heart to Heart Hospice, or Salem United Church of Christ's music fund.
