It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Sue Hilsmeyer Leon of Huntingburg, Indiana, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewald Franklin and Virginia Katherine Hilsmeyer (Shurig); her husband Dr. Mario Leon of Quito; her son Brett Hilsmeyer; and her siblings, Gerald Hilsmeyer and Carol Hilsmeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Leon (Kaci) of Liverpool, NY and Kristina Reed (Scott) of Crestwood, KY; her grandchild Chase Hilsmeyer (Malin Pirnay); her friend Tom Benner; and also Delaney. She is also survived by two granddaughters; one great-grandchild.
