She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Huff, and Mildred Huff, Sr. (Schaefer); and her brothers, Ray Lavern and Lowell Huff, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Paul B. Kappner; her daughters, Paula Meyer (Christopher) of Huntingburg and Christie Herron (William) of Huntingburg; and her sisters, Bonnie Messmer (Kenny) of Huntingburg and Jody Friedman (Paul) of Jasper. She is also survived by three grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
