He is survived by: his children, Gary Houser (Karen), David Houser (Patty) and Jan McAlhany (Tim); his sister Maxine Elward (Bob); his grandchildren, Jennifer McAlhaney, Zachary Houser (Melissa), Rob McAlhaney (Meghanne), Natalie Houser, Rachel Malcolm (Jared), Becca Houser, Kelsey Smith (CJ) and Jon Houser; and his great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Mollyanne Tolin, Dylan, Hallie, Alyvia Paul, Adalynn, Audrey, Levi Malcolm, Rhett, Rory Houser, Kendall, Caid Smith and Lucas McFall.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Huntertown Chapel (16830 Lima Rd, Huntertown, IN 46748). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Huntertown Cemetery.
