She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Sommer and Eleanor Sommer (Kaiser); her husband Everett Thurber (Bud); her brothers, Paul and David Sommer; and her grandson Benjamin Sommer Thurber.
She is survived by: her sons, Brad Thurber (Gretchen) and Brian Thurber (Patricia); her grandchildren, Kiana, Sierra, Noah, Joshua and Greyson; and her sister Donna Branch.
