He was predeceased by: his parents, Kaye Martin Winebrenner and Marilyn Swinehart; his stepfather Dick Swinehart; his siblings, Mark Winebrenner and Martha Winebrenner; and his brothers-in-law, Fredrick Craig and Melvin Rugg.

He is survived by: his wife Amy J. Winebrenner (Kramer); his children, Heidi Jo Fanning (Rusty) of Colorado Springs, Jayme Lee Yates (Darren) of Fort Wayne, Anthony Richard Winebrenner (Erin) of Huntertown and Brent Michael Winebrenner (Vanessa) of Fort Wayne; his nephew Adam Craig (Tabitha) of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Brycen, Cameron, James, Autumn, Daxton, Maddox, Margaret and Marilyn; his son Monte; and his siblings, Myra Craig, Mary Rugg, Lisa Winebrenner, Martin Winebrenner, Kirk Swinehart and Michael Reily.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family, which will in turn be donated to the Stavreti Scholarship for Northrop High School Baseball.
