He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Emrich and Kathryn Emrich (Freeman); his wife Karen Gresley; his sons, Steven and Daniel Emrich; and his brother-in-law John Pendergast.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Van Gerpen (Daniel), Brian Emrich (Kim), David Emrich (Ginger) and Michael Emrich (Nirasha); his sister Patricia Prendergast; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Emrich. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
