It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene K. Smith of Hudson, Indiana, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Marlene K. Smith to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merland Hart and Marie Hart (Getts); her husband Steven Michael Smith; and her siblings, Keith Hart, Robert Hart, Betty Emerick, June Emerick, Eunis Hart and Gloria Keezer.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Smith (Brooke) of Pleasant Lake, Stephanie Snyder (Kelly) of Hudson, Candy King (Dan) of Fremont and Kallie M. Egly of Hudson; and her siblings, Ronald Hart of Hudson and Shirley Clark of Boise, Idaho.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Pleasant Chapel Church of the Brethren.
