He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Smith and Blanche Smith (Hose); and his siblings, Paul Smith, Jr. and Pauline Worden. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith of Hudson; his sons, Roger D. Smith (Shelly) of Orland, Rick D. Smith of Hudson and Rory E. Smith (Lila) of Hudson; and his grandchildren, Carla Betcke (Jeremy Lash), Michael Smith (Richelle), Matthew Smith (Sara), Ricky Brandon Smith (Angie), Kyle Smith, Julie Szapkiw (Channing), Lisa Wise (Chad), Zayne Smith, Wyatt Smith and Vanelope Smith. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.
