It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Miller (Howe, Indiana), born in Marshall, Indiana, who passed away on September 20, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Schmucker and Katie Schmucker (Schmucker); her husband Ray J. Miller; and her sister Clara Schmucker. She is survived by: her children, Wanda Miller (Gerald) of Nappanee, Cynthia Schwartz of Elkhart, Joseph Miller (Vonda) of Shipshewana, Wayne Miller of Howe and Gene Miller (Nadine) of Goshen; and her siblings, Frieda Stutzman of Nappanee, Esther Miller of Topeka, Vera Yoder (Ola) of Nappanee, Homer Schmucker (Karen) of Milford, Raymond Schmucker (Kathryn), Oscar Jr. Schmucker (Laura) of Nappanee, Lamar Schmucker (Lois) of Ligonier and Gary Schmucker (Susan) of Bremen.
