With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Jean Shears of Howe, Indiana, born in Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on May 19, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lehman E. Closson and Nelly E. Closson (Yankey); her husband Ralph D. "Joe" Shears; and her son Terry L. Shears. She is survived by: her children, Jeff L. Shears of Sturgis, MI and Penny Gerber of Mongo, IN; her sister Evelyn Sklar of Farwell, MI; her grandchildren, Jessica Hale of Angola, IN and Bradley Johnson II of Mongo, IN; and her great grandchildren, Trevon Nalley of Angola, IN, Jaden Hale of Constantine, MI and Sheelyn Hale of Angola, IN.
