He is survived by: his wife Arvilla Droptiny (Bethard) of Howe, IN; his daughters, Anita Eggleston (Ben) of Fort Wayne, IN, Amy Zimmerman (Chad) of Fremont, IN and Angela Spaulding of LaGrange, IN; his stepchildren, William J. Droptiny, II (Sara Cotie) of Herron, MI, Anna M. Droptiny (Josh Mak) of Three Rivers, MI and Jessica R. Droptiny (Omar Carrillo) of Constantine, MI; and his brother Charles Lyster (Sue) of Fort Wayne, IN.
