He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara A. Boots (Wheaton). He is survived by: his father Alan L. Boots of Howe, IN; his sisters, Amy Growcock (Kent) of Wolcottville, IN and Marianne Pagel (Jim) of Howe, IN; his nephews, Shannon Ransburg, Cody Ransburg (Brenna), Blake Pagel and Bryce Pagel; his niece Brekken Pagel; his great-niece Zoey "Zippy" Ransburg; and his great-nephews, Owen Ransburg and Ezriah "Stretch" Pagel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frurip-May Funeral Home (309 W Michigan St, LaGrange, IN 46761). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in Mike's memory to the LaGrange American Legion Post #215 or the American Heart Association.
