She is survived by: her husband Frank Friend; her children, Linda (Dan Lutes) and John; her friend Howe; her grandchildren, Rachel Lutes, Megan Lutes, Sarah, Keegan Parkhurst, Joshua Friend and Timothy Friend; and her sister-in-law Marianna Nelson of Shipshewana, IN..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lima United Methodist Church (6900 N 450 W, Shipshewana, IN 46565). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. She was a member of the Shipshewana Area Historical Society and the RSVP Sewing group.
