She is survived by: her husband Frank Friend; her children, Linda (Dan Lutes) and John; her friend Howe; her grandchildren, Rachel Lutes, Megan Lutes, Sarah, Keegan Parkhurst, Joshua Friend and Timothy Friend; and her sister-in-law Marianna Nelson of Shipshewana, IN..
She was a member of the Shipshewana Area Historical Society and the RSVP Sewing group.
