He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Mote and Bessie Readnour Powers; his stepfather Glen Powers; his brothers, Don Mote and Ken Mote; and his niece Shari Mote.
He is survived by: his son Kris Mote (Heather) of Anderson, IN; his grandchildren, Emily Mote of Lapel, IN and Austin Mote (Karly) of Pendleton, IN; and his siblings, Bob Mote (Norma) of Columbus, Ernie Mote (Sharon) of Hope and Carol Tatman of Hartsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
