He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Thayer and Jane Thayer; and his siblings, Woody, Pat, Toma, Mike Thayer and Yvonne Thayer.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Howard (Treva), Jeremy Howard (Crystal), Beth McDole (Shannon) and Becky Fleener (David); and his brother Billy Thayer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required before admittance to the funeral home as well as social distancing within the building.
