Richard Ott Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Ott of Hope, Indiana, born in Beech Grove, Indiana, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Bud" F. Ott Sr. and Alma Ott (Schanzel); his wife Wanda Jean Ott; and his siblings, Joe Ott and Star Tharp.

He is survived by: his children, Joshua Tharp, Ricky Ott Jr. and Kristin Ott of Carmi, IL; and his siblings, David Ott (Lydia) of Indianapolis and Kitty Henderson of Indianapolis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
