She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Lonaker and Roberta Cecil Vaughn; and her siblings, William, James Lonaker, Betty Garrison and Raymond Lonaker.

She is survived by: her close friend Steve Cohen of Hope; her children, Jeff Polk of Columbus and Rikki Hege (Cody) of Hope; her nephew Chester Lonaker of Hope; her grandchildren, Jeff Polk II (Ashley) of Norvolk, VA, Brandon Garrison (Sarah) of Greensburg, Brody and Andi Hege of Hope; and her siblings, Helen Keller (Ron) of Hope and Troy Wombles of Columbus. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
