Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lonnie Lorraine Bennett of Hope, Indiana, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 86, on June 4, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Nielson and Mildred Bell Nielson; her son Doug Thompson; and her sisters, Beverly Birdsall and Janice Allman.

She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Reddick (David) of Camby, Teresa Turner (Mick) of Hope and Frank Thompson (Rhonda) of Columbus; and her siblings, Wanda Marvin of Ohio, Lawrence Nielson of Hope, James Nielson of Hope and Frank Nielson of California. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be donated to the Hope Volunteer Fire Department.
