He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thayer and Ruby Burns Thayer; his brother Bill Thayer; and his nephew Doug Thayer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Lemons; his children, Shawn Thayer (Lisa) of Hope, Leah Roth (Griff) of Hope and Tabetha Tedder (Jimmy) of Hope; his grandchildren, Blake Roth (Hannah), Baili Finke (Korey), Ryan Thayer (Morgan), Rachel Connors (Justin), Reid Thayer (Emily), Rory Thayer (Quin), Emily Tedder, Elizabeth Tedder and Sarah Tedder; his great grandchildren, Josie Roth, Lex, Lenni Finke, McKenna, Harper, Hudson Connors, Collins, Sutton Thayer, Evie Thayer and Kaysen Thayer; and his nephew Greg Thayer (Amy).
