June Gilliland Obituary

Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved June Gilliland (Hope, Indiana), who passed away at the age of 97, on January 18, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Renner and Mary Elizabeth Miller Renner; her son Wayne Edward Gilliland; and her siblings, Norris Dale Renner, Bertha Mae Sneed and Clora Marie Mize.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Berkenstock, Joyce Garrison (Steven), Donald Gilliland (Kim) and Lisa Garrison (Tony); her grandchildren, Brent Berkenstock (Tonya Blackburn), Ryan Berkenstock (Natalie), Joshua Bean (Kayla), Michael Garrison (Maytee), Jeremy Gilliland, Kacie Garrison (Travis Trible), Keri Garrison (John Bense) and Matthew Garrison; her stepgrandsons, Steven D. Garrison, Eric Allman (Katie) and Dustin Allman (Angel); and her brother Ralph Renner. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246).

Memorial contributions may be given to Hope Moravian Church or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
