He is survived by: his son Jim Nielsen (Veronica) of Daytona Beach, Florida; his stepchildren, Shirley McKinney of Colorado, Brian Carr of Colorado and Rick Carr of Arizona; and his siblings, Wanda Marvin of Ohio, Lawrence Nielsen of Columbus and Frank Nielsen of California. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
