Glenn Floyd Olmstead Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn Floyd Olmstead of Hope, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Glenn Floyd may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Glenn Floyd touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jettie Olmstead and Freeda Stater Olmstead; and his siblings, Clifford Olmstead, Minnie Stitt, Edna Olmstead Wood, Floyd "Bud" Olmstead and Marshall Olmstead. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Hope Volunteer Fire Department through the funeral home.
