She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Janes and Lorena Jessee Janes; her husband William Russell Hartwell; her grandson Justin Nicholas; her siblings, Rejina Pumphrey Moore and Jesse Janes; and her niece Sheila Dailey.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Nicholas (Christina) of Greenfield, Yvonne Hartwell (Stephanie Morrissey) of Columbus and Robert Hartwell (Carla) of Hope; her grandchildren, Trinity Nicholas, Thomas Morrissey, Gracie Morrissey, Bobby Hartwell (Jessica), Amber Thompson (Sterling) and Elizabeth (Derick); and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Drake, Abigail, Haven, Willow, Kinley, Henry, Matthew, Alex and Melody. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
