With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eliza M Costa in Hope, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Macedo and Palmira Macedo (Rodrigues); her spouse Albertino Costa; and her brother Agostinho Macedo. She is survived by: her children-in-law, Armindo, Florinda Costa of Rumford, Zeferino, Lurdes Costa of Rumford, Antonio "Manny", Susan Costa of East Providence, Virgilio, Ana Cristina Costa of East Providence, Jack and Paula Costa of Seekonk. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory (901 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis Xavier Church (81 N Carpenter St, East Providence, RI 02914). A committal service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915).
