He was predeceased by: his parents, Arch A. Burton and Thelma M. Clark Burton; his son Bruce Lee Burton; and his siblings, Kenneth Burton, James Burton, Patsy Settle and Marie Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Burton of Hope; his daughter Lynda Ziegler of Hope; his granddaughter Tyocia Ziegler of Flat Rock; and his sister Diana Bennett of California.
