He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard B. Lane and Marie Odeta Lane; and his siblings, Richard J. Lane, Robert E. Lane and Grace Anne Barkes.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Kelly; his children, Rebecca Fields of Columbus, Michael Lane of North Vernon and Gregory Lane of North Vernon; and his sister Janet Baldwin of Columbus. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
