He was predeceased by: his parents, Arno Winterstein and Ada Winterstein (Wagner); and his brother James Winterstein (Cynthia). He is survived by: his wife Alecia Wittenbrink; his children, Timothy Winterstein (Teresa), Elizabeth Tomasino (Clayton), Amanda Middendorf (Gary) and Thomas Winterstein (Jill); and his grandchildren, Meleyna, Henry Winterstein, Eliam, Isabella, Makai Tomasino, Kinsley, Katelyn Middendorf and Baby Girl Winterstein.
