She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Vieira and Ilda Vieira (Batista); her former husband Leonardo Joao; her sibling Arlindo Vieira; and her grandson Leo S. Dias Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Manuel Moura; her children, Richard Joao of Milbury, MA, Nidia Barker of East Providence and Grace Cunha of Seekonk, MA.; her stepchildren, Ruben Moura of Portugal and Priscilla Moura of Portugal; her siblings, Sidonio Vieira, Helidora Gouveia and Zita Milho of East Providence; her grandchildren, Michelle Cunha, Stephanie Cunha, Christopher Dias, Scott Joao, Robert Joao and Patrick Joao; and her great grandchildren, Jacob Twitchel, Isaac Twitchel, Emilia Twitchel, Catarina Marques and Christopher Dias, Jr.. She is also survived by five nieces, four nephews.
