He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Furst and Ida Furst (Jackson); his son Jay Buell; and his grandsons, Derreck and Christopher.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Lori Eder, Rebecca Hon, Susan Driver and Doug Furst (Donna); and his grandchildren, Bailey, Logan, Dylan, Hope, Kennedi, Michael, Amber, Anthony, Amanda, Ryan, Robert and Jamie. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
