Smith of Holton, Indiana, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Smith and Jessie Smith (Morton); and his siblings, Rusty, Cecil, Buddy, George Smith and Omi Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Cleta Mae Walls of Holton; his son Lavelle Smith, Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky; his sisters, Rose Williams of Louisville and Patricia Smith of Louisville; his stepchildren, Lola Lowry of Louisville and Danny Harris; and his great grandchild Loren.
