She was predeceased by: her parents, Commodore Simpson and Stella Mae Simpson (Krause); and her husband Russell Sattler. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Sattler (Holly) of Huntingburg, Janet Hemmer (John) of Stendal and Jolene Caldemeyer (William) of Stendal; and her sister Sharon Kamman of Huntingburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
