We bid farewell to Dorothy Mae Land of Holland, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 29, 2024 at the age of 94. Dorothy Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Omer Balsmeyer and Nettie Balsmeyer (Meyer); her brothers, Dennis Balsmeyer, Glen Balsmeyer and Eugene Balsmeyer; her granddaughter Laura Jo Neuman; and her great grandchild Jocelyn Smithers.

She is survived by : her children, Steve Land (Paula) of Holland, Carol Vogler of Holland and Donna Neuman (Russ) of Huntingburg; her grandchildren, Kristina Oxley (Barry) of Huntingburg, Matt Small (Jackie) of Holland, Jayme Vogler of Rockport, Julie Koets (Nate) of Charlestown, IN, Jason Land (Renae) of Newburgh, IN, Dr. Ashley Clark (Damien) of Fishers, IN and Brittany Wilson (Andrew) of Louisville, KY; and her siblings, Joan Leistner of Holland and Allen Balsmeyer of Holland. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Augustana United Church of Christ (204 S 5th St, Holland, IN 47541). A burial was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at the Augustana Cemetery.
