With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darlene Lydia Smith (Holland, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Tormohlen and Louise Tormohlen (Weitkamp); her daughter Natalie Jo Smith; and her siblings, Annette Kahle, Gene Tormohlen and Betty Wenzel.
She is survived by: her husband Dave Smith of Holland; her daughters, Nannette Jones (Andy) of Jasper, Nicole (Nicki) and Nena Dwyer (Scott) of Huntingburg; her sister Phyllis Luker (Duffy) of Holland; her grandchildren, Mallory Bolin (Dustin) of Jasper, Aaron Fuhs (Leanne) of Noblesville, Hannah Vollmer (Heath) of Jasper, Katelyn Ruanto (Jovie) of Louisville, Ellie Murphy, Finn Murphy, Anna Murphy of Louisville, James Dwyer and Jack Dwyer of Huntingburg; and her stepgrandsons, Andrew Jones (Chasity) of Birdseye and Jay Jones of Orlando Florida. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
