It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zachary Banasiak of Hobart, Indiana, born in Blue Island, Illinois, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mitchell Witulski, Jr., James and Kathleen Banasiak; and his great-grandparents, Mitchell, Carmella Witulski, Harold, Josephine Johnson, Chester and Edna Banasiak.
He is survived by: his parents, Michael Banasiak and Karen Banasiak (Witulski) of Hobart; his grandmother Shirlee Iwinski of Sauk Village, IL; his aunts and uncles, Wendy Gasinski (Mark), Tracie Vaidilauski (Dave), Jenny Iwinski, Crystal Lopez (Ish), James Banasiak and Richard Banasiak; his great-uncle Bob Banasiak (Kathy); his great-aunts, Patricia Johnson, Barbara Murray (Roy) and Mary Beth Reynders (Daniel); and his cousins, Tyler, Brooke, Alyssa, Vincent, Jonathan, Phillip Jr., Gia, Matthias, Sarah Sayre (Chris), Collin, Nick and Michell.
