He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Stewart and Garnet Stewart; his wife Pearl Stewart; his son Wallace Stewart, Jr.; and his brothers, Larry and Odell Stewart.
He is survived by: his daughter Darlena Whittle (Wayne); his grandsons, Joshua Knox (Paola) and Matthew Knox (Abbey); and his great grandchildren, Jaime Wallace Knox and Rowan Alexander Knox. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
